Hello, I’m Chantal, founder and lead designer at Le Sol Design Studio, a boutique landscape design firm in Santa Barbara, CA. With a passion for both plants and people, I've dedicated myself to creating outdoor spaces that seamlessly enhance everyday life while blending aesthetics and functionality.

With a degree in Landscape Architecture from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo and being a licensed landscape contractor, I bring years of hands-on experience, from working for reputable landscape architecture firms and design-build companies to co-founding a landscape architecture firm. I approach each project with a keen eye for detail and a penchant for problem-solving.

I'm someone who sees the big picture but enjoys diving into the nitty-gritty details - whether it's selecting an appropriate plant palette, blending colors and materials, or exploring scents and textures. Drawing inspiration from my upbringing along the coast of Southern California and my travels through Europe and Asia, I've cultivated a deep appreciation for drought-tolerant plants, diverse garden styles, and the timeless allure of Mediterranean landscapes.
